I really like this light for zoom meetings. It is very bright but can be adjusted to very low. A variety of color warmth makes sure i can adjust to to most flattering setting easily. I like the light diffuser it came with and was pleasantly surprised that it came with a usb-c adapter so i can plug it right into one of the macbook ports. The only thing holding me back from a 5 star rating is that it is a bit heavy. Doesn’t really matter as long as the hinges are you laptop are tight. Sometime if i tilt my laptop screen back too far, the heaviness of the light will not allow it to stay and will take it down the remaining 1/4′ or so. Not a big deal though and if they made it any lighter it may not be as effective so maybe a trade-off. **update** no issues for me with suction/sticky cup staying put until removed it once to reposition, then it would stay put for more than 15 mins but i went in to q&a here as saw someone provided solution which was to moisten it with water.

I have had more than 500 video conference meetings from home since the covid pandemic began in mid-march, 2020. I have jury-rigged desk lamps to provide illumination with mixed and spotty results. Based on the advertising that i saw, i purchased a lume cube video lighting kit for remote working. It arrived and i put it to work today. I had 9-hours of zoom meetings today. I am delighted with how it performed. It is well-made, provided excellent illumination, and has easy-to-use, intuitively simple controls. It mounts securely to my laptop using a suction mount that disengages engages easily. I ordered a second for my desktop today.

You have to purchase a tripod to tilt the light forward. If you connect it to your monitor it only tilts backwards.

If lighting is what you need, this is very convenient but it mounts to surfaces by a suction cup and clip. The suction does not always hold tight if it’s on the back of my laptop so it pops off and falls to the floor.
